Jon Chock
Director
Jon has 30 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical industry. As a Pharmacist he has worked in both the hospital and medical industry for industry leading companies including Abbot Industries and Kaiser Permanente. From 2002 he worked primarily as an oncology pharmacist administering physician orders for cancer patients. He researched chemotherapy regimens, drug interactions and tolerances for both conventional therapies and investigational/study therapies.
Jon managed pharmacy personnel, inventory, systems. He was responsible for managing interactions with other clinic personnel including doctors, nurses and medical assistants. He has managed both staff and programs in the health care industries.
Most recently, Jon was the Director of Programs for JETTIX where he was responsible for the development and management of new programs. He is former Director of the JETTIX Tech Salon and Founders Academy series to be held in Berkeley, CA.
Jon received his Bachelor of Science from Tufts University and earned his Doctorate in Pharmacy from the University of Southern California.
Mable Yee
Founder & Director
Mable is a Tech CEO who has 40+ years experience in the industry. She has deep expertise in start up formation of companies from concept to exit strategies. Mable has extensive global networks which raised private equity capital from angel, international, corporate and venture capitalists. Mable has successfully built organizations, developed entrepreneurs and recruited experienced board members to asisst them. Her latest start up is in the Data Informatics space incorporating AI and ML technologies. She continues to advise founders in a wide range of industries: Web 3.0, AI/ML, VR/AR and Cybersecurity.
She was Co-Founder and CEO of Soleil Network Technologies which was the first system to display realtime management and diagnostics of network traffic between distributed networks. They were the first to develop a system on the Microsoft OS Network utilizing their GUI interface. Soleil was later acquired and merged into CoroNet Systems. She was also Co-Founder and CEO of Kiracom. KiraCom is an Application Service technology delivering targeted web content to companies and clients. It was the first to offer a unique email interface that offered integrated permission, incentives, privacy capabilities to clients and users. The technology helped clients achieve high click through rates as high as 55-75% for ads and surveys sent to their target membership. The system was able to gather user behavior by tracking their activities, deliver user data anlysis about how the content was utilized and began to make predictive use of the data.
Prior to her tech start ups she spent 20 years "cutting her teeth" and working for Fortune 500 corporate leaders Xerox Corporation, Ashton Tate & Network General. She launched software and hardware products into global markets. Among her accomplishments, she launched Xerox' first desktop laser printer achieving $125 Million sales in 18 months which was manufactured in Japan. She started her career in Sales and Management and moved to Marketing headquarters in Rochester, N. Y., Los Angeles and Silicon Valley.
Mable's many awards include the Woman of the Year, California State Assembly, Progressive Voices Fellow, Women’s Media Center and National Asian American Professionals’ Top 100 Asians. She has appeared on national media, spoken at national conferences on technology, marketing, diversity and women’s leadership. Mable has sat on national leadership boards and actively advises tech start ups in new disruptive tech fields.
Gary Wong
Gary has 40+ years of extensive success in a wide range of business industries. For 17 years, he was President of Westlake Global Management, Inc. and Westlake Realty. As Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer he ran both organizations and had overall responsibility for the company’s operations, policies, financial performance and strategic relationships. Westlake Realty had a real estate portfolio in excess of $600 million in shopping centers, commercial and residential properties. The company also had real estate, technology and business investments in global markets including China, Japan, India and Mexico.
Prior to Westlake, Gary served as Chief Financial Officer for two start-up technology companies in Silicon Valley. He has significant experience involving both domestic and international transactions aggregating over $5.5 billion. From 1982 to 1997, Gary served as Senior Vice President-Investment Banking for Wedbush Morgan Securities. As co-head of its Technology Practice, Gary was responsible for managing public offerings, venture and private equity investments, sell-side mergers and acquisitions and grew the securities company from $300 MM to $1.1 billion in assets.
At Wedbush Morgan Securities, Gary was Vice President-Senior Leasing Officer with Bank of America. He helped build a fledgling leasing operation into a world-class operation, starting with $300 million in assets and increasing it to $2+ billion.
Gary received his Bachelor of Arts and MBA from University of California at Berkeley.
Rachel Cortez
Marketing and Web Development
As the Director of Marketing and Web Development, Rachel is responsible for managing public relations and web designs for Engage All. She is responsible for designing and maintaining all websites as well as ensuring optimal user experience and functionality. She is also creating engaging media content to promote events and projects, maximizing visibility and audience engagement. This includes production of marketing and promotional content, usage of social media, and outreach and communication with media outlets.
Rachel is a Junior at the University of California, Berkeley and is completing a Bachelor of Arts in Data Science. While pursuing her degree, she has expressed interest in Data Science, Marketing, and Web Development, and is currently taking courses to advance her expertise in full-stack development and design. She is currently a Project Manager with Optimir Consulting at UC Berkeley, and specilizes in market research and marketing strategies. She has also completed internships in data science and marketing, working with start-ups through the Berkeley Skydeck program. Having worked closely with start-up founders in both marketing and data analytics, she has learned valuable leadership and entrepreneurial skills.
Alexis Huang
Director - Digital Media
As the Digital Media Director for Engage All, Alexis is responsible for overseeing and developing the graphic design encompassing different media platforms for all corporate and product images. She is responsible for ensuring a consistent identity and image style for all divisions.
She is also the Project Manager for Digital Media Programs whihc are implemented throughout high schools and colleges. She is proficient in the newest media development tools including Blender, Zbrush, Substance Painter, Adobe Photoshop, Procreate, and Clip Studio Paint.
Alexis is completing a Bachelor of Arts in Art and Design: Games and Playable Media at the University of California, Santa Cruz. Alexis loves 3D printing, plays RPGs, reading manga and dancing. Alexis is a commercial artist and her website www.Alexishuang.net showcases her portfolio and art work.
Ivan Garcia-Sanchez
Director - STEAM Sports
As Director of Engage All’s Steam Sports programs, Ivan is responsible for developing and delivering the camps that include Basketball and the STEAM activities in every camp. His responsibilities include managing the expansion and scaling of the STEAM Sports program nationally. This includes all management aspects of budget development, sponsorships, recruitment of coaches, volunteers ensuring successful delivery for the STEAM Sports camps. His responsibilities include the marketing, promotion and usage of all social media platforms.
Ivan received his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science: Computer Game Design from the University of California, Santa Cruz. He is an analytical backend software engineer with 2 years of experience programming high-efficient code for multiple web games. He is building his career in the software development industry utilizing his complex problem-solving ability to create intelligent solutions.
Syrak Micael
Director - STEAM Sports
As a Director of Engage All’s STEAM Sports programs, he is responsible for developing and delivering the camps that include Soccer and the STEAM activities in every camp. He is overseeing the expansion and scaling of the STEAM Sports program to include national chapters across the country. This includes projecting the budget, recruiting sponsors, coaches, volunteers and managing all the logistics for the STEAM Sports camps. Working with other team members, he is responsible for the marketing, promotion and leveraging of all social media platforms to promote the camps nationally.
Syrak is a Junior at the University of California, Berkeley. He recently transferred from Berkeley City College and is now completing a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. He serves as the Community Outreach Executive for the Associated Students University of California’s Transfer program. As a Research Intern for Kaiser Permanente he shadowed medical staff and received hands on experience in various departments. Syrak has played soccer all his life and served as the youngest Head Coach for the Mavericks Soccer Club.
