Industry reports show that the world is rapidly changing and Technology is contributing to this rapid change. With the accelerated adoption of the the Web it enables brand new categories of products, services, information, eCommerce, etc. Entire categories have been transformed profoundly and irreversibly. For example the universal acceptance of online shopping by sites like Ebay and Amazon has eroded the revenues, market share and threatens the existence of traditional retailers. As consumers move to online shopping practices, companies must adjust to thrive or face extinction.
Technology has delivered exciting new innovations that have major impact on the way we are educating, communicating, purchasing, dating, gaining employment at an unprecedented rate. At the same time our country's demographics is shifting at an incredible rate. Our population's population is exploding and changing as more families represent multi racial and multicultural changes. The multiple generations are affected by the Baby Boomers retiring, Millenials starting families and Gen Y moving into the workforce.
These young consumers are growing up with mobile smartphones, streaming media, online dating, online purchasing which represents huge opportunities to sell new categories of products and services. Brands and products like Apple's Iphone, Yeezy sneakers, Sony's PS4 gaming console, wireless products, mobile apps represent global opportunities and sales. These consumers are influenced by a new category of entertainers and athletes who use YouTube, Snapchat as their media content delivery system. Comedians, Make up artists, Foodie experts, Rappers have emerged gathering huge subscribers who are loyal to their channel. They rarely watch TV, listen to the radio or read print materials. Marketers using these traditional marketing & advertising methods are missing their target markets.
Companies need employees who understand these new consumers and will develop, market, support and create innovative products and services. We need digital media, social media, engineers, statistical analysts, brand managers, business development, finance and IT operations employees. Our country has to educate, train and prepare our students and people to compete for these jobs. The need for people to have STEM training and education is critical in order for our country to stay competitive. Companies don't want to outsource and hire international employees but they can't find enough qualified and trained people to take these positions.
As the consumer population's tastes and interests are changing rapidly, companies must hire employees who understand these diverse consumers. They will not remain competitive if they want to market products and services to African Americans, Latinos, Asians and girls if their employees do not reflect these populations. With huge immigrant populations who represent big consumer markets, companies must hire employees who reflect their target markets and communities.
The opportunity to train, provide internships, promote college education and employment couldn't be better. We also must provide access to role models, training programs and leadership development to this new generation. That is why JETTIX is focused on understanding these needs, developing training and internship programs for this target market. More importantly placing young multiculturals into companies who understand that they must recruit them to create appealing or meaningful products or they will die.
